Tri Chats are short training updates to keep me in check!My first week back from vacation was tough but I feel like I came back swinging and into the thick of things. My Tri2Onegroup meets every morning, seven days a week (Swim: M,F, Bike: T, TH, Run: W, Brick: Sat, Long Run: Sun). I didn’t miss a workout and was able to add BootCamp three times in the afternoon. I started going to BootCamp in January as I had no strength and I knew I needed to work on it. Gaining muscle and strength has made a huge impact on my training. Everything is getting faster, I am getting leaner, and my posture is getting straighter making it easier to breath on the run! Now that training for my 70.3 is ramping up, I cannot go to BootCamp as often but am hoping to keep it to at least twice a week. I rode slider for 35 miles, my longest bike ride in almost six months, and loved it. Only down fall is that we leave again on vacation for 5 days so I’ll be playing catch up once again.
