I have been working like crazy during spring break to bring you this: TriathlonMami’s new website. The idea is to make it easier for you to get to the content that you are interested, and easier for me to add shorter content and updates.
I wasn’t the only one working though. My training buddy Orlando from IPublicity, gave me free parking in one of his servers so that I could work on the site without having to take the blog down. Gracias Amigo! Oriana my super triathlete/designer set up the new site and transferred much of the content. I then almost erased all of it and she came right back to the rescue. My niece Olivia, spent an entire day of her spring break editing the spacing in each of the 80+ posts while I rode my bicycle with Dreamer who I stuck in triathlon camp all week. And my super sponsors Ultrabikex cut me some slack on my March deadline as I was consumed by this. It has taken a village to get here!
As much as I stalk other blogs, it’s still strange to think that someone would really be interested in all this so I continue to write and share my journey as if the only audience is myself. I try to think of this as my journal that I can read in the future, that my sons can read what their mom was like at forty something as she tackled an IronMan. And the rest? The rest is just gravy: I don’t really know how to make it, but I like how it tastes.
I also hope to grow, and be a source of information or at least a resource to the moms out there who are trying to balance it all. I am so grateful for finding this fitness path and turn both my life and my family around that I hope to help where I can.
If you find any broken links, any upside down pictures or otherwise annoying traits please comment or send me an email to triathlonmami@gmail.com. This is a work in progress and I appreciate your help.
So, what do you think?
